Suspect Triangle Location(s):

  • Top point of star and pentagon, with Eye of Horus and wings

This card refers to the Greek god Hermes. According to Greek mythology, he is the son of Zeus and Maia. Hermes was consider my the mythology a god of transitions and boundaries. Supposedly to be quick and cunning as a messenger/intercessor between humans and other Greek gods. For a more in depth look at Greek mythology related with Hermes here are some links:

So what are the Adepts of Hermes? That is what I asked until coming to the conclusion based on the Merriam-Webster definition of adept which states: “a highly skilled or well-trained individual; expert.” Going a little deeper with this word finding its etymology the results are:

  • as a noun- “an expert,” especially “one who is skilled in the secrets of anything,” 1660s, from Latin adeptus (see adept (adj.)). The Latin adjective was used as a noun in this sense in Medieval Latin among alchemists
  • as an adjective- 1690s, “completely skilled” from Latin adeptus “having reached, attained,” past participle of adipisci “to come up with, arrive at,” figuratively “to attain to, acquire,”

Here is the source on this information: Adept Etymology

So based on this information alone with just the etymology of the word adept you can see that it was used as a word from alchemists in the Medieval time period. In a nutshell alchemy focuses on what they refer to as levels of creation that consist of spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical levels. It is also required to have these Hermetic disciplines to become an alchemist:

To gain a bigger insight of what alchemy is, I really suggest reading this link called The Truth About Alchemy. This covers a good detail on what alchemy is and some tidbits on how it is intertwined within the Illuminati, Freemasonry and other societies.

Now, we will turn the focus to the symbols that are displayed on this card. Below is an image with the all the symbols more visible than compared to the full card at the top.

Close Up of Seal

They will be explained below as they appear. There are 3 symbols I have not been able to figure out yet. When I am able to figure these out, I will update the rest of this page.

Alchemy sign for air

This symbol is the Upward Pointing Triangle used to represent the element of air in alchemy around the Middle Ages which can also symbolize the heavens or space.

Alchemy sign for earth

The opposite direction, this symbol, in alchemy, is the most common which represents the element earth.

Eye of Horus

The third symbol is the Eye of Horus (a.k.a Eye of Providence) inside of a triangle. This is usually refers to represent knowledge, enlightenment and insight especially relating to spiritual and esoteric situations. This eye can be seen as a left eye or a right eye. Some say the right eye represents God and the left represents Satan. To what accuracy that is, I am not certain but I know the Eye of Horus is an Egyptian symbol not related to Christianity.

Caduceus

Caduceus

The fourth symbol, which is shown in the middle, is probably recognizable as the medical symbol. This would make sense considering that alchemy has it’s foot in medicine as well. This symbol is called the Caduceus. On the card the wings are not joined with this symbol but connected to the Eye of Horus. You can see there are two snakes (serpents) intertwined around the staff of Hermes. According to Indian philosophy and medicine this symbol is related to a system of energies called Chakras. The two snakes intertwined around Hermes’s staff are suppose to represent a negative and positive force like the Ying and Yang in Chinese medicine to create balance. Also you can notice the number of times the snakes overlap each other, which is five. This is suppose to represent five energies fields for the human body. Now look back at the intertwined snakes, you can find they resemble the structure of DNA as well. If one looks into Kundalini its the concept of releasing the snake from one’s spine to reach enlightenment and the same style of symbol can be seen there.

Pentagram

This next symbol is the five-pointed star which can be known as a pentacle or the pentagram. This one is pointing up, which is a standard symbol for witches, Freemasons, and other occult groups. This symbol, for the witches, signifies the four elements of wind, water, earth, and fire then the top point as a spiritual being. This spiritual being could be Gaia or Mother Earth. If we look at the symbols on the card, it is clearly being presented of this such matter as the top point of the star is being represented as some kind of deity with the use of the Eye of Horus. The pentagram is also used for protection, to banish energy, or bring the energy to that person depending on how it is drawn. Once again this is right on topic with alchemy.

Chi-Rho

Chi-Rho

This next symbol, called the Chi-Rho, looks like a P overlapping an X. For the symbol they are actually the Greek letters Chi and Rho. This symbol has been used by the Greek scribes to mark, in margin, a very valuable passage or representing Christ. The letters combined, stands for the word chreston which means good. The numerical values of these Greek letters are 700 with Chi’s value is 600 and Rho’s value is 100. Another thing to mention about this symbol is that it looks like the X chromosome with something coming out of it, or added to it.

Here is a link for number symbolism on the number 700.

Cresent Moon

Cresent Moon

This is a crescent moon, the symbol of the aging goddess to the contemporary witches. This symbol is used in astronomy, astrology, and alchemy. In astrology, it represents man’s sensitiveness, impressionability, the instincts, the subconscious, the emotions, and ability to react. So in general, it is the sign of personality. In alchemy, this symbol represents silver. Then in astronomy, it represents the first stage or first quarter in the moon.

Alchemy sign for Mercury

This symbol is the symbol for the planet Mercury. However, knowing that the Romans and Greeks often referred, to what they call gods, were the same gods but used by different names. For the Romans, the god Mercury, is the same god as Hermes to the Greeks. So now knowing this, the symbol clearly points to Hermes. There is a lot more to this symbol however. This symbol can be broken down into three alchemy symbols: the crescent moon (top part of symbol; looks like the letter “U”), the sun (the middle part of the symbol; the circle), and all the elements (the bottom part of the symbol; the “+” or cross).

The crescent moon depicted this way, also represents a new or waning moon from the perspective of locations near the equator. This was also the symbol for the moon god Sin which was the god of vegetation. Ironic that this god’s name is Sin. Next, looking at the sun (or the circle) in astrology represents the human spirit or the inner individual. The “+” symbol that stands for all the elements in alchemy (or matter) can be seen with the circle quite a lot. This also represents the physical body of the human when combined.

More links here discus this symbol in more detail.

Pentagon

The last symbol is the pentagon. This symbol is closely related to that of the symbol for the planet and goddess Venus. Looking back at the top of this page, we can see that this symbol is not like the rest due from the fact that the image on the card shows a seal that was pressed in (usually into a hot wax) know as an impression seal. The stamp (more accurately called the seal matrix or die) that created this seal was the shape of a pentagon.

In conclusion, I feel that this card, (this card is in reference of a group as stated on the bottom) is talking about alchemy, Hermetics and something even deeper. This seems to be a group that contain experts at what they do and perform their “exercises” in great secrecy. To me this sounds like an alias for the Illuminati themselves. Lastly I will show several Bible verses that go against what has been mentioned above.

And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.” Duet. 4:19 KJV

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” -Gal. 5:19-21 KJV

Now let me go deeper with these symbols as a whole. I briefly mentioned some “nuggets” with certain symbols in order to pull this together. Before I go any farther, I will try to bring the deep meaning of these symbols out in a “nutshell.” The first image below the card that is provided at the top, is invisibly divided in two halves; left and right. Now from the top, remember the two alchemy symbols that represent the air (or heavens) and the earth? On the left is the symbol for earth and on the right is the symbol of the heavens. These are opposites being united together. You have the Eye of Horus which is symbolically for Satan coming down from the heavens. As you can see with the symbol this triangle is inside the circle. Inside the circle you have DNA and two differences are present at the same time; the moon and the sun or dark and light. What does all this mean? The circle is the womb from the woman and as you can see Satan has entered the womb. To be a bit more acute, since the symbol has wings it could be seen as the fallen angels. The woman’s womb is penetrated and what is inside? Inside the womb are two different things combined forming a DNA. Have you ever heard about this before? In short its the sons of God from Genesis chapter six:

“AND IT came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they choose. And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” Genesis 6:1-4
