The name means camel-leopard which according to today, it just a giraffe. Here is some tidbits on animal symbolism.
The camel is commonly known for it use in the deserts as a burden animal (an animal that carries one’s items) and is able to travel long distances without food or water based on how it was designed by God. The camel is also referenced 12 times in the bible of which three are for the analogy of how it is easier for a camel to go through and eye of a needle than a rich man to enter heaven.
The leopard is the smallest cat out of the “big cats” and is said to be more cunning than the other three. The word leopard occurs six times in the bible, in Jeremiah 13:23 asking if it can change it’s spots (associated with evil), Daniel 7:6, and Revelation 13:2 as a prophetic beast of dominion.
The giraffe is known mostly for its long neck and the ability to reach higher places than most other land animals. The word does not occur in the bible but looking at the symbolism of the animal it is said to be a representation of foresight, higher perception, see into the future, farsightedness, etc.
This event could be nothing and at the same time this event could mean something, however, the bible teaches to watch and pray, and look for the signs in the heavens.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25-28 KJV
